Throughout the known world, the Temujin (a.k.a. "Death Crawlers") are considered one of the deadliest predators in the known world. When fully grown these invertebrate predators can grow between 1.5 - 2.0 meters in length, the length of a full-grown human being.

These underground predators are found throughout most desert regions throughout the known world, and are known to attack caravans of people and domesticated animals. The most deadly aspect of these creatures isn't their size, but rather their ability to take down large animals with their jet sprays of sulphuric acid, which has been described by explorers who have unwittingly aroused such creatures as feeling like "a bolt of lightning". The sulphuric acid of the creatures has been known to strip a horse to the bone within the space of less than 12 hours.

The Temujin also produce several known medical drugs, which can be harvested from the Temujin on a regular basis. Based on this knowledge, many medical technicians have begun actively raising the Temujin in captivity , often with little to no success.
