So, since I like to play around on Tektek a lot, I was using it to construct some basic archetypes of people for my counties, showing fashions and racial profiles. Ex:
ÞórrlundtAppearance Guide:
Prime Minister, Traditional Woman, Working Man
Young Woman, Young Woman (Winter), Craftsman
Þórrlundt, descended from nordic ocean travelers, are typically very tall, study people with fair skin, hair, and eyes. Women are curvaceous, men are muscular, both slightly poochy. Physical appearance is considered something of a good trait, and semi-archaic clothes are common, as are boots and heavy winter clothing.Nuuit
Tribal Leader/Queen, Typical Woman, Typical Man
Young Woman, Young Woman (summer), Young Man
Nuuit, on the other hand, tend to be rather short in stature, with medium builds and a predisposition towards being athletic. Men and women are similarly built, and they appear similar to native inuit. Clothing is almost always made of leather or, more frequently now, wool and fur, and often has elaborate beading. Typically tan, white, blue, or red.Barbidenos
Voudun Priestess, Princess, Young Man,
Young Woman, Typical Man, Young Woman (Servant)
Descended from African analogues, the locals of Barbidenos then to be a tall, thin people. Barbidenos is known for it's exotic, brightly-colored birds and bright dyes made from island flowers, and the locals embrace that wholely, outfits often being more colorful and elaborate than functional. The more elaborate and feathered an outfit is, generally the higher up the wearer.Quetzalkulkan
High Priest/King, Young Woman, Young Man,
Dancer, Woman, Young Woman (wealthy)
Extravagent does not begin to describe how the Quetz adorn themselves. With a surplus of gold and disposition towards tattoos and body painting, they wear their violent history proudly. Red cloth is easily produced and cheap to wear, so it's common. The tropical local makes excessive clothing uneeded-and many go partiallly naked!
